What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking an Agile Coach to support our portfolio teams in fostering agile maturity, business outcome focus, and customer-centricity across projects. The Agile Coach will lead transformation initiatives, partner with Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters, and support leadership in strategic business agility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Coaching and Mentoring:
- Develop comprehensive coaching plans alongside Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, and other Agile practitioners.
- Coach and mentor individuals, teams, and leaders at all levels on Agile principles, practices, and mindsets.
- Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Agile Transformation Leadership:
- Champion and lead Agile transformation initiatives at the portfolio and team levels.
- Partner with portfolio leadership to develop strategic business agility plans.
- Advise leaders on team structures optimized for value delivery.
- Conduct Agile maturity assessments and guide continuous improvement activities.
- Agile Expertise:
- Ensure the effective implementation of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning to improve Agile practices.
- Leverage data and metrics to measure Agile adoption and impact.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of Agile Standards across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
- 3+ years of experience coaching at the portfolio level or higher
- Strong understanding and expertise in Agile frameworks
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Servant leadership mindset
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree in IT or a related field
- Agile coaching certifications (ICAgile, CSM, etc.)
- Experience with AgilityHealth or similar assessment tools
Pay: $54.60 – $78.00 /hr.
