Our client is currently seeking a talented person for a Technology Project Manager position.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in projects. Constant effective communication with all stakeholders is crucial. You will coordinate with internal departments to review existing user requirements, integration capabilities, data sources, and proposed solution designs for feasibility, increased efficiencies, reduced cost and enhanced functionality. You will assist data modeling to design and implement data structures which meet the business requirement for timely and accurate data. You will develop, implement, administer, and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company data. You will actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the member experience. You will work with Technology Strategist and tech team to ensure physical security of company database and users.

You will assume ownership of assigned projects and provide end-to-end project management of enterprise-wide applications and databases. You will create and maintain a project plan(s) that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation for the identification and implementation of a new technologies. You will also manage all vendors, partner relationships, including financial management required to complete project. You will serve as primary problem solver for assigned project, highlighting potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues on assigned project. You will keep all stakeholders and leaders fully informed to ensure consistency and maintain integrated timelines. You will also lead the testing & quality assurance of new platforms coordinating with internal staff and stakeholders.

You will coordinate training documentation for all users as functional updates to technology require. You will maintain all project documentation and paperwork in an organized fashion, including next steps or future phase items that are raised but not accomplished in the current round of project development. You will also manage all approvals before reviews and or final delivery of work to minimize disruption to our member organizations. You will complete all NAED Strategic Plan action items & projects as assigned. You will solicit feedback from NAED staff annually for individual growth and complete personal development plan outlining tasks and skills to improve upon. You will always present a professional image to members and vendors. You will also follow organizational policies and procedures. You will do all other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
  • A college degree is required in information technology, project management or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7 years' experience in technology or related experience required.
  • Self-Starter with strong attention to detail and the ability and desire to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Advanced analytical and project management skills: manage multiple projects with deadlines.
  • Software Experience: Microsoft Office, HTML, Databases, experience with CMS, SQL server and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and SaaS concepts desired.
  • Understanding of how business objectives can be met and exceeded through application of digital technologies and channels. B2B experience a plus
  • Hands on experience with project management applications & tools
  • Effective one-on-one communication skills. The ability to work with many different personalities and build quality relationships with staff and association members.
  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams and the ability to operate independently and proactively.
  • Ability to work and coordinate with outside vendors to execute work needed.
  • Demonstrated team focused mindset (Has a positive, get-it-done attitude)
