Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Technical Support position.
You will field incoming help requests from end users via, telephone, web-based ticketing system, and e-mail in a courteous manner. You will document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue. You will also build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers. You will prioritize and schedule problem resolution. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician. You will record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all actions taken, through to final resolution. You will access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution. You will identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization. You will also perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications. You will test fixes to ensure the problem has been adequately resolved.
