Our client is currently seeking a talented person for a Sr. Electrical Engineer position.



What You Will Be Doing:

You will support the manufacture of medical diagnostic instruments manufactured on site. You will lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) Team to introduce new products to Manufacturing. You will also develop and maintain project schedules - support multiple ongoing projects. You will work with internal and external resources to achieve goals. You will resolve technical problems on the production floor utilizing Engineering analysis. You will also resolve non-conforming material issues and coordinate corrective measures. You will manage project cost, cost reduction initiatives, and obsolescence mitigations. You will review and recommend equipment expenditure, generate CAPEX requests. You will also evaluate new technological solutions determine, feasibility, implementation and validation requirements. You will initiate and conduct IQ, OQ, PQ validations for design changes, processes changes and test equipment as necessary. You will identify quality issues and manage resolutions utilizing SPC, DOE, and root cause problem-solving techniques. You will also mentor junior engineers.



What We Are Looking For:

  • BSEE & 5+ years related experience with analog, digital and programmable devices.

  • Experience with PCBA design, manufacture, test and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with complex electromechanical devices (low volume, high mix)

  • Experience with embedded systems, EMC/EMI, and electro/mechanical parts (i.e. pumps, motors, optical components, and cable assembly design).

  • Must have experiencing in embedded systems, digital and analog expertise.

  • Working knowledge of design for manufacturability.

  • Experience with medical instrument development and manufacturing under FDA Quality Systems Regulations.

  • Experienced with time management, project management and project management tools. - Working knowledge of CE Marking and ISO Quality Systems desirable.

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.

  • Experience with medical electrical safety and EMC regulations and testing.

  • Experience with Altium CAD and LabVIEW desirable.

  • Good oral, written, and technical writing skills are required.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
