Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Sr Programmer Analyst; Java position.



What You Will Be Doing:

You will maintain the company's internal application framework. You will design, develop, and unit test complex enterprise applications using sound object-oriented analysis and design principles. You will also encourage test-driven development and support automated testing tools. You will research innovative solutions and inspire other developers to think outside of the box. You will maintain enterprise tools used in the design, development, and delivery of software. You will advise information system teams on the effective use of technology within the enterprise architecture tools, methodologies, best practices, processes and standards within the area of expertise. You will proactively seek continuous improvement in processes and tools. You will participate and represent the area in cross−functional groups. You will also mentor and train other associates.



What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, etc. or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of Java software development experience on enterprise-level solutions.

  • Understanding of DevOps concepts and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with Microservices architecture using Docker and Kubernetes or similar container orchestration tool.

  • General knowledge on relational / NoSQL databases, Linux, application architecture, and tool / system administration.

  • Understanding of secure software coding principles.

  • Systems engineering and development methodology experience.

  • Strong understanding of Kanban and Scrum is preferred.

  • Experience with industry standard frameworks and libraries: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA, Thymeleaf, Struts 2, Jersey.

  • Experience with client-side JavaScript libraries or Node.js is preferred.

  • Familiarity with test-driven development (JUnit, Selenium) and static code analysis (SonarQube).

  • Strong ability to learn and apply new/emerging technologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with all organizational levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem−solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor, as required.

  • Experience in financial services industry is preferred.
