Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Sr Data Analyst, People Analytics position.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will create, maintain, and develop custom reporting and dashboards in support of Firm initiatives/programs via Envision, Excel, and PeopleSoft. You will answer ad-hoc business information requests by writing complex SQL to extract data out of multiple databases and transform raw data into meaningful information. You will also automate and convert legacy reports to solutions that create efficiency and reduce errors (SQL, Excel, VBA, Envision, PeopleSoft Query Manager etc.). You will perform effectively in a team environment and with cross-functional project teams with general direction from others. You will also identify, extract, clean, transform, validate and model data across multiple domains using various technologies and languages (Advance SQL required, Envision and PeopleSoft preferred). You will document, monitor, and proactively recommend improvement to processes and controls related to area responsibilities while quantifying the impact of changes for leaders. You will clearly and concisely communicate complex information to a variety of audiences and mediums. You will provide first level support for business intelligence solutions that have been deployed to business areas. You will collaborate with business areas and project teams to elicit, identify, prioritize, and document BI and data requirements. You will build requirements for, develop and enhance automated processes that provide functional areas with data and information. You will also educate other team members, associates, and leaders within the area of data and BI best practices.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in the areas of mathematics, finance, accounting, economics, engineering or information systems. Advanced degree is a plus.

  • 5+ years relevant work experience

  • Advanced ability to interact with various database and file storage systems (DB2, Oracle, PeopleSoft) (Required)

  • SQL (Required)

  • Microsoft Excel - experience using Power Pivot, formulas, macros, vba, charts/graphs (Required)

  • Envision (Preferred)

  • PeopleSoft Query Manager (Preferred)

  • People person and team player who is willing to sacrifice individual performance for the greater good of the team

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to succeed in a highly collaborative environment.

  • Deep understanding of relational databases

  • Working knowledge of analytics or BI terminology associated with HR and financial services industry preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Power pivot, advanced formulas, macros, vba, charts/graphs

  • Advanced knowledge of Envisions reports is preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and VBA

  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle database and PeopleSoft

  • Working knowledge of SQL Developer and PeopleSoft Query Manager is preferred

  • Working knowledge of advanced financial analysis, forecasting, data modeling, statistical analysis and complex financial modeling is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, critical, and systems thinking required

  • Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks/projects and adjust to changing priorities with minimal leader required

  • Strong analytical mindset and excels in investigating and troubleshooting reporting accuracy and errors.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with associates and leadership in cross-functional settings using verbal and written format required

  • Strong organization and planning skills

  • Ability to execute pre-existing project plans and possesses basic project management skill
