Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Project Scheduler.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will prepare and develop resource-loaded critical path P6 project schedules. You will develop and generate schedule and resource reports, including summary level reports. You will proactively work with the project team to update and maintain the P6 project schedules on a weekly (minimum) or as needed basis. You will lead schedule review sessions with the company and vendors. You will proactively review and verify all project related scheduling information and logic with company and vendor Project Teams. You will provide scheduling support as needed to project teams. You will ensure project Baselines are managed in accordance with the company Digital and CPOC requirements. You will provide scheduling assistance and education to project team members as necessary. You will review, monitor, and advise on the accuracy of assigned schedules. You will proactively keep company and vendor project management teams apprised on schedule performance concerns in order to allow teams to prevent significant schedule impacts as much as reasonably possible. You will monitor project float and critical path and communicate any slippages or potential risk areas to company and vendor project management teams. You will establish look-ahead layouts to help focus company and vendor project management teams on near-term critical activities. You will perform routine (weekly minimum) schedule health reviews (using company schedule health tools) to assure that all logic connections are correct and that the use of constraints is minimized and only used when appropriate. You will remedy schedule health issues in a timely manner. You will proactively work with vendor scheduling and project management contacts to assure vendor schedules are appropriately linked to company project schedules and are being maintained to meet good critical path scheduling requirements. You will establish and maintain effective relationships with all department, employees, clients, architects, subcontractors and vendors. You will also participate in the lessons learned and other project management processes as requested.
What We Are Looking For:
High level of proficiency scheduling projects and programs using Primavera P6 required
Experience using P6 Analytics preferred
Experience with monitoring, controlling, and managing project schedules required
Skills in reviewing schedule health and performance including identifying, analyzing, and solving schedule related issues before they occur
Experience coordinating with outside vendor schedules
Minimum of 4 years of Primavera P6 Scheduling experience
Ideally St. Louis-based. We are looking for candidates who are local. Having someone travel to/from St. Louis weekly would be too burdensome and we are not willing to pay for relocation or travel expenses. Remote work is not option. If selected candidate must relocate to St. Louis for the assignment.
