Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Program Manager - Expert position.



What You Will Be Doing:

You will partner with IT and Business Leads to facilitate project/program business case, initiation, scoping, planning, and funding approval processes with a focus on the overall program. You will work with different business functions to deliver cross-function capabilities. You will also manage the large program in an Agile environment. You will partner with Agile Coaches to provide guidance to the development team and stakeholders on how to use Agile/Scrum practices at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. You will provide overall program leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects of a given program, including requirements gathering, business case creation, implementation. You will create and maintain a consolidated program-level plan and review PM plans to ensure alignment to meet program timelines and objectives, including work stream interdependencies with the goal of being able to outline key capabilities that have been delivered and measure the business value/impact.



You will establish and manage change control, contingency planning, testing and launch readiness processes as well as metrics to determine success. You will provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines. You will perform program financial oversight and analysis. You will ensure that the IT solutions align with business priorities. You will manage program-level risks and interdependencies. You will promote collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders. You will partner with IT and Business sponsors to lead steering team meetings and communicate program progress and status to steering team and senior management. You will lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork; drive escalation and resolution of issues. You will identify, support and coach project managers within the program where applicable. You will provide technical expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of program, projects, and initiatives. You will also provide program reporting and status to senior management. You will review program budget variance and scope change requests, and participate in the budget-resolution process. You will maintain excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organization. You will establish metrics that are true indicators of the program health.



What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven leadership and influence skills including the ability to influence when there is no direct reporting relationship

  • Experience in managing large sized projects/programs across multiple disciplines and/or teams

  • Experience managing large programs in an Agile Environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, business & digital acumen, and industry knowledge

  • Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites

  • Ability to build networks and relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels

  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills

  • Superior negotiation skills

  • Strong team orientation, collaboration skills, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong Technical expertise & results orientation

  • Expertise in defining and improving processes

  • Ability to make difficult decisions and to involve others sufficiently in the decision-making process

  • 10 or more years of IT or business experience

  • 5 or more years of project management experience

  • Bachelor's degree



It Would Be Great, but Not Required, if You Had:

  • Knowledge or understanding of software development lifecycle principles and methodologies

  • Experience working in an R&D or Agriculture industry.

  • Must have demonstrated leadership ability, business & digital acumen, and industry knowledge

  • Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites

  • Adept at helping team members harness and develop strengths in pursuit of successful program outcomes

  • Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision

  • Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations

  • Strong analytical and financial skills

  • Proven problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Effective influencing approach

  • Adept at understanding technical components and how they address the business needs of a Project/Program.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels

  • Ability to succeed in a dynamic matrix organization

  • Readily applies principles and practices from one functional area to enhance another.

  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills

  • Project/Program Management certification

  • Ability to use Microsoft Project Server
