Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Product Owner position.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will understand the overall roadmap as determined by the Product Manager and/or Client. You will partner with Product Management and/or the Client to create and maintain a product backlog that reflects their objectives. You will prioritize Product Backlog. You will be interacting with Product Management and/or external Clients in the creation of Epics and Features into user stories. You will work closely with the scrum master, Agile Team, UX Team, and QA to translate roadmap into team-specific release plan and sprint plan. You will provide an active role in removing/mitigating impediments impacting the Agile Team/Sprint Goals. You will identify interdependencies as uncovered during planning sessions. You will assist the QA team in reviewing the test cases and with story validation if required. You will review stories completed by the development team in a sprint against acceptance criteria and UX. You will guide and mentor team members on how to use Agile/Scrum best practices, values and principals. You will be mentoring team members on the Agile Framework and coordination of their deliverables. You will also ensure product aligns with company mission and goals. You will be an experienced professional with Scaled Agile framework.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field; master's preferred

  • 2+ years previous experience as a product owner, business/product analyst, or in a related field supporting Agile Software Development.

  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products, and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.

  • Experience in SAFe practices and processes, desired.

  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); working knowledge of software development

  • Proficient skills, with Jira / Atlassian product family, or like, products for managing user features and stories, scope management, project management.

  • Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.

  • Strong technical and problem-solving aptitude.

  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
