Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Level II Helpdesk position.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will provide Tier 2 incident management, diagnosis, escalation, tracking, and resolution. You will provide outstanding customer service and a positive support experience by interfacing directly with clients on issues, communicating in a clear, concise manner. You will follow established processes and standards, identify and propose improvements as necessary. You will maintain a high-level knowledge of desktop, network, and mobile technologies. You will act as a resource on projects. You will perform remote diagnostic tasks. You will assist in developing technical documentation to improve training and service delivery. You will have experience configuring DSN and firewall security. You will provide preventative maintenance services for clients 2 - 4 times a month. You will also provide after hours and weekend support/project work as needed. You will perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required

  • 3-5 years industry/help desk or related support experience, preferably in a managed services provider environment, but not required

  • Experience working with little guidance

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Ability and comfort with working directly with clients

  • Excellent documentation skills, ability to write technical processes and procedures

  • A+ certification or higher

  • Experience installing and supporting Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS X.

  • Office 2003/2007/2013/2016

  • Office 365: Exchange Online, Skype for Business, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint

  • Virus/malware remediation

  • 2+ years of WAN/LAN/Firewall experience with WatchGuard, Cisco, FortiGate, SonicWall or similar products

  • Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher

  • Experience with installation and administration of Microsoft AD in Windows 7 and above

  • Windows Active Directory

  • Creating Microsoft Visio diagrams

  • Ability to read logs and event viewer, and diagnose advanced problems

  • Understanding of priority levels and escalation process
