Our client is currently seeking a talented person for a LEAD BSA Release Train Manager position in Chesterfield, Missouri.



What You Will Be Doing:

You will lead an Agile Release Train (ART) to successfully and consistently deliver quality software. You must assist teams to creatively resolve and escalate impediments, manage risk, assure value delivery, and drive program level continuous improvement. You will play a critical link between multiple scrum teams, facilitating communications regarding cross-team dependencies, risks to execution, opening the flow of information, and sharing important progress updates to ensure all teams involved in the ART are focused on successful delivery. You will be accountable for the overall coordination, execution, and delivery of value through the program while ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments and goals.



What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of related experience and 1-2 years of business solutions experience with high complexity, multiple large application business processes.

  • Knowledge of programming languages, project management, and application or systems development methodologies.

  • RFP, contracting and new business implementation may be required.

  • Intermediate SQL query skills.



It Would Be Great, but Not Required, if You Had:

  • Work experience in an organization utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaling model

  • Experience with providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching to peers, team members, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners

  • Servant leader and strong communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong ability to lead and influence others at all levels

  • Very strong business acumen

  • Experience with identification of cross-team/cross-departmental dependencies and risks, serving as an escalation point to overcome impediments

  • Experience driving change and implementing business efficiencies

  • Experience maintaining and utilizing metrics to drive performance and provide visibility to stakeholders on program-level plans, progress and quality

  • Pega experience

  • Medical insurance industry
