Our client is currently seeking a talented person for an IT Talent Development Specialist Lead.

As a Lead Talent Development Specialist professional, you will leverage your deep experience in talent development and learning and development in your collaboration across our Workforce Services team and the global IT organization to identify and understand talent needs, design and deliver high impact solutions, and evaluate and measure the outcomes - all to advance our growing and evolving workforce. What You Will Be Doing:
You will provide subject-matter expertise in several areas of talent development and learning and development. You will be responsible for the end-to-end solution and program ownership: identity, assess, design, source or develop, deliver, and evaluate; often in large and mid-to-highly complex efforts. You will also collaborate across the organization to develop business acumen and insights needed to serve as a learning and development advisor. You will be using expert consulting skills, leads need assessment to understand, clarify and/or define impactful objectives for, and successful outcomes of, talent development efforts. You will identify skill gaps and development needs that will have a direct impact on individual and team effectiveness. You will recommend and develop solutions that address business and talent needs. You will be skilled in leveraging a variety of methodologies and blended learning approaches with an emphasis on real-world application relevant for adult learners in our technology business environment. You will have experience in the identification, management, and evaluation of vendor partners. You will participate in contract negotiation. You will lead the development and implementation of communication and marketing plans for learning programs and solutions. You will also lead the development of project plans and work standards; may coordinate, direct or lead project activities or teams. You will prepare and deliver informal and formal presentations to the team, team leaders, IT teams, and other business partners. You will facilitate meetings regularly and classes where needed. You will assist in coordinating training logistics as needed in partnership with LMS administrator to ensure course set up, registration, evaluation, and reporting as needed. You will epitomize the continuous learning mindset to stay current on talent development trends and best practices.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. Without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree and five to seven years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience in talent development, training, and development, organization development or related field in a large, corporate environment
  • Knowledge of learning theory, instructional design, and adult learning principles
  • Skilled in leveraging a variety of methodologies and blended learning approaches with an emphasis on real-world application relevant for adult learners in our technology business environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing training and development materials, presenting effectively to a variety of audiences, and summarizing recommendations and insights to team and business leaders
  • Takes ownership of and accountability for execution, timeliness, and quality of assigned projects
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a flexible, communicative manner
  • Results oriented with the ability to set and manage multiple priorities using strong organizational, process, project, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience identifying, implementing and managing third-party vendor partners
  • Establishes, fosters, and maintains effective relationships with the team, team leaders, department and IT customers
  • Experience facilitating meetings, training needs assessments, and classes
  • Strong communication, influencing, and consulting skills with the ability to organize and express ideas clearly, position thoughts and perspectives effectively, and inspire support of shared projects and outcomes
  • Has a passion to deliver high-quality programs, processes, and talent development solutions
  • Exemplifies professional behavior and establishes credibility as a talent development professional
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; uses broad expertise, knowledge, and skills to manage a wide range of complex issues in ways that support business and talent development priorities in creative and effective ways
  • Sets, evaluates, and reports on performance improvement and development efforts
  • Change agile with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Adheres to policies and procedures; experience developing standards, processes and procedures
  • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to support multi-campus workforce as needed
It Would Be Great, but Not Required, if You Had:
  • Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, Instructional Design, Training and Development, or related field
  • Experience working for a global company and/or a partially remote workforce preferred
  • Experience working in Information Technology or other technical function preferred
  • Experience working in a talent management or learning management system preferred
  • Experience with Storyline 360, Captivate, or similar authoring tool preferred
