Our client is currently seeking a talented person for an IT Business Analyst.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will identify areas of common practice and implements opportunities for standardization. You will work with end-users and clinical network groups to encourage maximum usage of applications. You will demonstrate advanced knowledge of electronic health record applications/system(s). You will coordinate application enhancements by identifying needs, analyzing benefits, identifying process changes and the impact of enhancements within the parameters of governance standards. You will support legacy clinical systems and other information system applications as needed. You will also support end-users across the system for application support and optimization. You will assist with the development of test scripts and plans. You will also assist with the development of training content and appropriate training data. You will participate in configuring/maintaining all necessary documentation and other components/activities that impact governance and regulatory requirements. You will ensure that data interfacing into applications meets business and clinical needs - both for ongoing interfaces and one-time data conversions. You will also work with other Ophthalmology clinical applications to identify ways in which those applications can support workflow and configure/build the application accordingly. You will analyze users' jobs in order to make recommendations regarding application security. You will understand the databases required for implementation/maintenance of modules. You will also create positive change management and communication with end-users to ensure their acceptance of the applications.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience with PMS and EMR is required
Must have clinical or operational knowledge of workflows and interdependencies with the electronic health record and practice management software.
Possesses a solid knowledge of information technology and information systems.
Basic project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, and execute to project plan).
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Strong analytical skills and detail orientated.
Detailed understanding of workflows and system configuration.
Strong organizational skills.
Detail oriented individual with the ability to gather information in order to fully understand the needs of the clinical users.
Demonstrates/develops an expert knowledge of clinical applications, systems and functional requirements.
Demonstrates an understanding of business process flow and the ability to facilitate process improvement.
Demonstrates the ability to translate technical information into terminology understood at all levels of users, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrates organizational ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines and handle simultaneous projects.
Demonstrates ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain composure under pressure.
