Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for an ERP Implementation Support (SAP)-Master.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will plan and coordinate application systems analyst activities required to complete assigned projects. Manage the implementation of large projects. You will understand, formulate, and define client needs, scope, objectives, and business requirements. Determine how changing business needs will impact systems. Assist the business with quantifying business benefit relating to current and future IT projects, systems, and processes. You will gather client business requirements and develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for the implementation of large and complex projects, according to the Software Development Methodology (SDM) and the Development Framework (ADF). Create functional and technical designs and detailed specifications from which programs will be written for large and complex projects. Analyze and revise system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. You will review and approve business requirements, system development requests, technical designs, and system and interface solutions. Ensure requirements and technical designs are complete and accurately describe the system/function/process to be implemented, and ensure that proposed implementations and enhancements will meet the needs of the business. Collaborate with other groups within IT to implement custom solutions to meet business needs. Provide technical advice and assistance to programmers as required. You will develop technical designs and configure SAP to meet business requirements. Create SIS structures and corresponding update routines. Utilize SAPs OSS system. Collaborate with designers to design custom SAP user exits, configurable routines, and interfaces to systems external to SAP. For large and complex projects, you will coordinate the setup of test environments and the execution of related testing activities. Develop test strategies and plans to verify systems meet business requirements and client expectations, document and execute unit, functional, and regression system test cases to test system modifications and implementations, track and report test results, manage the resolution of system defects, and assist clients with user acceptance testing. You will analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, identifying areas for improvement. Prepare and communicate recommendations to IT and client management. Implement approved solutions, coordinating efforts with clients and IT as needed. You will participate in project sizing activities. Assist project managers to determine resource needs and to estimate the activities, tasks, and deliverables required to implement IT projects. You will also address, resolve, and follow-up on production down problems. Work with outside vendors to resolve issues for various systems as necessary. Research business issues and make recommendations to ensure the same problems do not reoccur. Provide application support, train Production Operations staff, assist clients in the understanding the business impact of the issue and implement fixes to address system issues. You will provide subject matter expertise in four areas of business functionality, support four business units, and provide system expertise for three systems. You will research new technology trends, tools, techniques, standards, and software packages. Recommend IT solutions based on technical and business requirements that will enhance application efficiency and effectiveness. Support the implementation of assigned software packages with existing systems. You will coordinate routine maintenance and upgrades on various systems as required. Coordinate data archiving and database cleanup activities. You will also coordinate the transfer of knowledge to the client, ensuring that they have all the information and training necessary to effectively use delivered business solutions. You will actively train, coach, and mentor less experienced team members. Coordinate the work of a team of Business Systems Analysts on large and complex projects. You will ensure documentation related to the business analysis, design and testing functions are current, accurate, and version-controlled. You will also provide input into the evolution of IT System development processes, standards, procedures, and methodologies. You will establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients and IT team members. You will perform other duties as assigned.

  • Applications meet or exceed client expectations
  • IT systems and process problems resolved in an expedient manner
  • High level of quality, service and productivity in all work assignments
  • Process improvements identified and implemented
  • Meet project hour and cost estimates in system analysis activities
  • Associates degree or technical certification in Business or Information Systems, Bachelors degree preferred
  • 8 years of related IT experience
  • 4 years of business and/or application systems analysis experience in a company of similar size or larger
  • Experience documenting requirements using contemporary software engineering techniques such as process data modeling and use case analysis (experience using automated tools in this area preferred)
  • Familiar with software development lifecycle and project management
  • Functional area experience
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook)
  • Microsoft Visio
  • SAP or equivalent ERP system knowledge
