Our client is currently seeking a talented person for a Director of Technology and Innovation Services position.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will collaborate with executive management to develop and position overall innovation and technology vision that aligns with stakeholders and supports organizational growth. You will create overall technology standards, policies and practices and ensuring adherence that supports the business needs of the organization. You will lead and manage special projects and initiatives from inception to completion assuring quality control and financial projections are met. You will manage data systems implementation and monitoring their effectiveness in meeting business goals and objectives. You will identify, build the business case for and implement new technologies needed to achieve corporate goals. You will develop strategic relationships with vendors and contractors that support projects and operations. You will also develop technology contingency plans to keep systems operational in the event of a disaster and keep projects on track. You will have the ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive in when issues arise, or a team needs your help.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize.

  • Straightforward, open-minded, creative, non-hierarchical.

  • At least 15 years progressive experience in the technology field with at least 8 years of experience at the Senior Manager or Director level

  • Experience preferably in support of a field services organization with a focus on empowering the end user and streamlining processes

  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 experience preferred

  • Relevant and updated certifications required for project management, system implementation, maintenance and management (Cisco, Microsoft, CPM, PMP etc.)

  • Oriented toward long-term strategic success

  • Demonstrated experience managing departmental and organizational technology budget and fiscal management including creation of strategic business plans

  • Prior experience building an effective IT infrastructure to meet business requirements

  • Willingness to travel as required, generally less than 15%
