Our client is currently seeking a talented person for a Director of Network Engineering and Operations.
You will be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of the design, build and run of our Global Core and Data Center Network. The Global Core network consists of a backbone of network connectivity used for routing communications from endpoints to SaaS, IoT, Internet and Data Centers. The Data Center Network consists of all networking, firewalls, and routing of traffic within three company-owned and six leased data center facilities. Your responsibilities also include the management of the physical data center space, power, physical access and assisting IT teams with installation, decommissioning and management of their systems within the company's data centers.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will interface with company Executives to contribute to the overall IT strategy. You will be utilizing the defined strategy, you will work closely with vendors, solution architects, and management, technical management, service operations management, security and stakeholders to deliver a network infrastructure roadmap that can support current and future growth and migration to cloud technology, with focus on automation of network services.

Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
9+ years' experience in IT Network Engineering and Operations
9+ years' experience in vendor management and operations and maintenance of solutions
9+ years proven success leading multiple teams across the business and IT organizations, including proactive and effective employee lifecycle support and development, including leadership of other managers
Proven ability to navigate effectively at the executive level within a large, complex, global organization, key stakeholders to include executive leadership, product management, IT business solution groups, and business line reporting
Demonstrates executive-level written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal and collaborative skills. Must have the ability to position oneself effectively as a thought leader in the areas of IT Strategy, Design, Engineering and Operations (internally and externally) by communicating related concepts with poise
Strategic orientation with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
Demonstrated examples of utilizing innovation and strategy to drive forward new use cases, forward-looking concepts, coupled with execution and results
Experience in engineering and operations of following Network Technologies:
Cisco Nexus and ACI Routing and Switching
Application Delivery using F5 Systems
Palo Alto Firewalls and associated Panorama and Firemon Management Systems
It Would Be Great, but Not Required, if You Had:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Expertise in automating complete platform stack using Software Defined Data Center and Networking
Experience in implementation of Voice technologies
