Our client is currently seeking a talented person for a Director of Client Management position.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will expand existing customer relationships to grow the existing client base. You will be responsible for meeting the company revenue growth goals associated with the client. You will identify opportunities for expanded services and facilitate the administrative details including but not limited to pricing approvals, proposals, contracts, etc. You will be a central point of contact and customer advocate for assigned Tier 2 and a limited selection of Tier 1 & 2 organizations. You will ensure client stability, growth and long-term retention. This includes meeting established expectations for ongoing client communications as well as scheduled monthly and/or quarterly performance calls and onsite meetings. You will provide leadership for ongoing quality and service management. You will manage escalated client issues and challenges, involve appropriate senior management and operations personnel, and respond promptly with appropriate feedback. You must be able to work in a matrix reporting environment and serve as an influencer of other key service roles, including operations and client management. You will communicate key performance indicators (KPI's) by client, by service line and report results proactively. You will partner with operations leaders to monitor, analyze and report service trends and gaps as well as to create performance improvement plan where necessary. This requires an understanding of analytics and system data. You will identify revenue risks. You will have an in-depth knowledge of client's management and operating environment to quickly identify and facilitate mitigation plans to prevent loss of revenue due to operational performance or service decline, change in leadership, merger/acquisition, change in program scope, fee reduction request, etc. You will ensure proactive and effective client communications on the company and industry matters that are pertinent to client. This requires inter-company discussions and focus group participation as applicable as well as an understanding of revenue cycle changes and the impact to providers. You will ensure client contracts are properly administered and billing issues are resolved timely.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle industry, including an understanding of Health Information Management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field is preferred or a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience, with at least 3 years serving in a similar role managing client within the HIM industry or a customer service role, preferably as both practitioner and consultant or within healthcare operations with exposure to billing, insurance follow up and collections.

  • Strong familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.

  • Previous experience bringing new and/or expanded services in front of clients

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and through others, strong leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to act/decide accordingly.

  • Ability to collect, synthesize and research complex or diverse information. Exceptional customer service and the ability to plan, organize, and exercise sound judgment.

  • Capable of creating management level action and remediation plans for clients as needed.

  • Will be expected to utilize internal tools for timely reporting of client activity and cross-sell expectations.
