Our client is currently seeking a talented person for a Department Manager of Architecture/Design position.



Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Department Manager of Architecture and Design. You will hold accountability for helping create and support the company's strategic vision for how our employees leverage end-user technologies. By collaborating with the key business leaders and market-leading technology vendors, you will proactively define technology solutions in response to business problems, opportunities, and needs throughout the organization. What You Will Be Doing:

You will stay current with technology trends, specifically in the areas of the modern workplace, user experience, collaboration, and mobility. You will lead teams to establish a roadmap for the modern end-user workplace and services. You will also establish KPIs to identify infrastructure and process improvements. You will build, develop, and improve IT staff to create an integrated, energized and highly motivated best-in-class architecture and design team. You will apply user experience principles across the end user workplace landscape. You will create business architecture models demonstrating how products, operations, and systems interoperate that help drive future state technology. You will conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, and/or user training. You will ensure solutions developed across the organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits). You will also analyze, influence, and translate business requirements into concepts and architectural blueprints that align with our overall technology vision. You may also be asked to contribute to the global IT architecture strategy.



What We Are Looking For:

  • *******Corp to Corp Not Allowed, no remote work.

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

  • 8+ years of related experience

  • Experience in leading teams to manage implementation of large-scale transformations

  • Knowledge of product management with a strong understanding of how to offer a solution as a service

  • Must exhibit a leadership style that exhibits strategic thinking, collaboration, direct communication and results orientation

  • Superb relationship management skills, specifically around leading change with the ability to create a non-adversarial atmosphere and be viewed as a partner

  • Exceptional communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to effectively defend ideas and solutions; convey complex information in a manner that is easily understood and actionable to both non-technical and technical leaders



It Would Be Great, but Not Required, if You Had:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

  • Experience shifting organizations to digital workspace architecture

  • Experience in a large Enterprise

  • Knowledge of cloud architecture leveraging environments such as AWS or Azure

  • Experience with UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) tools like Citrix , VMWare or Microsoft for application publishing and workspace solutions

  • Experience with user centric design approach to provide frictionless user experience

  • Knowledge of UEM management tools such as InTunes, SOTI or similar solutions

  • Experience establishing demos and prototypes
