Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Business Analyst position.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will elicit requirements using a variety of techniques to articulate the user needs and desired system capabilities. You will validate requirements for quality attributes, such as clarity, conciseness, correctness, completeness, testability, and traceability. You will understand the business domains and be proactive in identifying areas for improvement. You will translate requirements into specifications to reflect and confirm understanding of the requirements. You will document complex business logic and business rules using appropriate tools. You will also apply best practices to ensure optimal user experience. You will manage and prioritize requirements to ensure that scope is consistent with expectations. You will support system-test activities to ensure the fitness of use for the business partner.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree with 8+ years relevant experience

  • Excellent consulting and communication skills: listening, writing, abstraction, and negotiation with ability to comfortably interact with all levels of leadership. Excellent meeting-facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage the business analysis of software projects, including:

  • Requirements management

  • Use cases and user stories

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) sessions

  • Rapid mock-ups

  • Documenting business processes and workflows

  • Experience in documenting complex business logic and business rules using appropriate tools; demonstrated ability to create and maintain complex documentation.

  • Experience working through all phases of software-development lifecycle, including feasibility, development, software verification, systems verification, and software validation.

  • Enthusiastic contributor with "can-do" attitude who thinks proactively.

It Would Be Great, but Not Required, if You Had:

  • Experience working in a medical or clinical laboratory

  • Usability / human-factors experience is a definite plus.

  • Experience using a requirements management tool

  • Experience working as member of an Agile team.

  • Experience in an ISO/FDA regulated environment as a member of a product-development organization (medical-device or biotech industry) is a plus, along with experience/knowledge of Design Controls
