Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Business Analyst position.



What You Will Be Doing:

You will be gathering, interpreting and documenting complex functional requirements to develop existing or new systems. You will be creating and executing test plans for large development; you will be responsible for overall user test planning and coordination. You will have demonstrable experience in creating and documenting business use cases from high-level requirements and concepts. You will be serving as the conduit between business operations needs and IT solution development on intermediate to large scale projects of moderate to high complexity in scope. You will independently be conducting structured requirement-gathering sessions with business users and IT team members to interpret and document the results. You will be analyzing operational data and process analysis for use in proposing improved operational strategies to the team. You will also be identifying possible system solutions and making recommendations to department management based on financial and service level impact and feasibility of options. You will be planning, executing and leading structured user acceptance testing, identifying test cases and documenting results. You will also be analyzing functional system issues and defects, conducting research and developing documentation relating to the root cause. You will be defining and implementing improved documentation, reporting and testing processes. You will also be assisting with and providing leadership to rollout and implementation planning, communication and execution. You will also be identifying opportunities for improvement within the Car Sales applications and business processes, and developing a plan of action to implement a solution.



What We Are Looking For:

  • ********Corp to Corp Not Allowed, work must be done in St. Louis with no relocation provided.

  • 5+ years of experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Experience working with the business and translating requirements into technical specifications

  • Experience presenting and explaining complex functional requirements, use cases and work flows to senior managers

  • Proficient knowledge of application office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Ability to effectively communicate with various business and IT teams through excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to judge between what is requested and what is feasible, given the parameters of the technology and the project timeline

  • Ability to identify potential problems and solve issues

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

  • Ability to be adaptable to work environment and surroundings



It Would Be Great, but Not Required, if You Had:

  • Knowledge of project and requirements management tools such as MS Project, Confluence, Jira, Rally or similar is preferred

  • Understanding if relational database concepts, data storage and retrieval techniques preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
