Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a BizOps production support - jenkins/splunk position.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services-from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement. You will support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. You will also maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. You will scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. You will practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems. You will respond to customer inquiries and questions. You will assist with Implementation database maintenance and new customer set-up. You will also assist with configuration changes in multiple environments.

What We Are Looking For:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.

  • Some experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design.

  • Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl or Ruby.

  • An intermediate knowledge and understanding of computer technology and problem resolution.

  • Internal and external customer support experience.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL standards and specifically ticket management.

  • Ability to multi task workload in a fast pace dynamic environment.

  • Professionalism and a good work ethic are required.

  • Able to perform on-call duties on a rotational basis.

  • Occasional off hours work required.

It Would Be Great, but Not Required, if You Had:

  • Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

  • Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
