Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a BI Project Manager position.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will be identifying and controlling detailed project tasks, dependencies, critical path, contentions, risks and resources across multiple sub-projects. You will be eliciting system roadmap and/or complex requirements and creating estimates with an appropriate understanding of risks. You will be ensuring project cost, schedule, scope, and quality objectives across projects are developed and met by monitoring, using metrics and controls to measure progress, taking corrective action and escalating issues when necessary. You will also be assessing trade-offs to the scope using cost/benefit analysis and make recommendations to senior leaders. You will be allocating, onboarding, assigning, and oversight of resources, project and technical leaders to achieve project objectives. You will be planning, identifying, analyzing, monitoring and resolving project issues and risks. You will be identifying mitigation strategies and communicating with project stakeholders. You will also be establishing and maintaining effective communications and relationships across multiple areas, divisions, outside vendors and project leaders/teams who are working on sub-projects within a project or program (including IS UX, IS development teams, business stakeholders, and internal analytic teams). Providing timely communication of relevant data to senior leadership for decision making. You will be leading the development and execution of a complex, integrated testing strategy. You will also be managing multiple-cycles technology migration from development through production environments, and transitioning Transitions product to support area. You will be assisting or taking responsibility for troubled projects, rapidly assessing the state of the project, recommending and implementing solutions to get the project back on track.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Project management certification

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects with a high level of complexity/integration that includes other projects and project leaders.

  • 5+ years of IT experience on BI and/or database development projects

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and MicroStrategy tools

  • In-depth knowledge of financial industry and/or technical processes, systems and risks

  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills - Must be able to effectively communicate with the project team, other project leaders, multiple areas, divisions and outside vendors. Also must incorporate effective listening and collaboration skills.
