Our client is currently seeking a talented person for an Assistant Vice President.

Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Vehicle Technology Solutions who is responsible for assuming the continued transformation of our technology capabilities while overseeing our traditional technology solution sets. The scope includes Strategy, Design, Engineering and Operations our vehicle acquisition, inventory, operational, and asset disposal suite of solutions. You will establish a vision that aligns with modern IT technology trends, maps that vision to our current state, and drives transformation of the Vehicle Management solution group and throughout the IT organization.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will develop a familiarity and understanding of the company Information Technology department, business and culture. You will assume responsibility for the appropriate architecture transformative efforts being run across your organization and be able to clearly and succinctly align them to our strategy and goals. You will establish an IT Technical Product Capability deliverable that showcases our work in innovative and new ways and demonstrate its' value to our business and to our IT goals; specifically, demonstrate "what's possible" in collaboration with the solution and product teams. You will establish a strong working relationship with the VP of Business Solutions, the Information Security Officer and the necessary Business Operation Executives. You will assess the current leadership and make the necessary talent or organizational alignments as needed. You will participate in the IT Governance Process at the Executive Level. You will also assess and evaluate the current areas of responsibility in scope for the organization (align roles and structure to meet needs) and provide a concise and results-oriented vision for the future.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. Without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • 15+ years IT leadership experience, strategy and vision building, software development, managing personnel, and executive communication and presence
  • 10+ years of experience with the automotive industry, technology practices, and data
  • 5+ years of experience with large scale fleet acquisition, service management, and disposition
  • Demonstrates executive-level written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal and collaborative skills. Must have the ability to position oneself effectively as a thought leader in the areas of IT Strategy, Design, Engineering and Operations (internally and externally) by communicating related concepts with poise.
  • Experience successfully leading large, global enterprise market organizations through transformative efforts similar in scope and size
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Software Oriented Architecture, APIs, Microservices, and Orchestration architecture
  • Ability to influence and collaborate throughout all levels of the organization
  • Ability to foster and maintain outstanding business executive relationships across various constituents to promote understanding and produce results
  • Proven ability to establish global strategic objectives (short and long-term) and drive implementation of tactical plans and objectives
  • Demonstrated success in achieving desired outcomes of global, complex projects
  • Ability to attract and develop employees capable of achieving the goals and objectives of the company; past success identifying and targeting talent for new opportunities for further individual and organizational development
  • Proven and demonstrated "what's possible" orientation; innovative thinker and strategist
  • Comprehensive and effective performance management approach, including a commitment to following through on performance requirements; building and leading a talent pool with skills needed to improve performance; and succession planning
  • Superior negotiation skills and ability to influence both internal and external customers, senior-level IT and business leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization
  • Ability to successfully lead, define, and manage service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards
  • Commitment to protecting our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions; ensures security policy and procedure requirements are met; continuously identifies opportunities for improving security and implements strategies to improve our security posture

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred
