Our client is currently seeking a talented person for an Architect, IT position in Clayton, Missouri.



What You Will Be Doing:

You will architect and support the stability, scalability, and performance of Centene's core Medical Management platform supporting 10,000 users daily. You will have technology skills using Go Lang, NodeJS, and Java to build RESTful APIs. You will have expert knowledge of relational databases and experience with NoSQL (Casandra and MongoDB) databases. You will be curious about leading-edge technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Machine Learning, and Docker. You will train and mentor IT team. You will define and refine methodology and standards for setup, design, and implementation of the application or technology to meet the needs of the business and IT customers. You will also generate detailed system requirements with cost projections, cost-benefit analysis and ROI.



What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant design and architecture experience.

  • IT experience within managed care environment

  • Demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to experience in the field.

  • Ideal candidate has a strong background in either Java or .NET applications that are highly transactional. SQL Server 2008 or above
