Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a PC Technicians position.



What You Will Be Doing:

You will work with IT Support Analysts and Senior IT Support Analysts to understand customer software and hardware support needs in a dynamic work environment. You will resolve incoming customer incidents that have come in via the IT Service Management ticketing system. You will provide hands on and remote controlled workstation support services; provide expertise on support services when requested by peers and clients. You will do remote support for multi-peripheral devices. You will also remote support for proprietary software and hardware. You will be required to image and configure customer client computers, replacements and/or new, for preparation for shipment and installation at a customer site. You will be required to configure customer multi-peripheral devices, replacements and/or new, for preparation for shipment and installation at a customer site. You will also work closely with customer personnel, internal company resources, and/or 3rd party technical vendors through the installation, final configuration, and deployment of the computers and multi-peripheral devices. You may participate in new project deployments as instructed by management. You will have strong presence with 3rd party technical vendors and resources. You will be responsible for all work in progress assigned to ensure completion of tasks and proper communications with clients.



What We Are Looking For:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, and at least two to four years of experience in the computer support/IT field.

  • Two to three years of experience on a service desk or front line support with point of sale devices is a nice to have.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Valid driver's license

  • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of a corporate organization and the correctional facility in a professional manner.

  • Ability to work in a correctional environment.

  • Skills and experiences with the use of technology in a business environment.

  • Exposure to service desk support, data communications/networks, and application environments.

  • Experience with customer service functions such as workstation support, demonstrated exceptional organizational skills.

  • Ability to ascertain the criticality of incoming requests.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.

  • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.

  • Ability to work independently or within a team.

  • Strong understanding of computers (including Microsoft Office programs).

  • Must pass background check(s): criminal, drug screen and credit check.
