Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented person for a Director of Ecommerce Product Management position.



What You Will Be Doing:

You will function as the conduit and main point of contact with the development and implementation team to deliver on product
design
ensuring that solutions meet business goals. You will work with internal stakeholders, vendors and development resources to develop
and
launch enhancements and fixes on the ecommerce platform, from UX improvements to site features to enhanced functionality in order
to
drive increased revenue and conversion. You will also manage 3rd party systems integration and other vendor work requests to timely
execution; evaluate 3rd party vendor needs within the context of the product. You will define requirements, manage resources to time
and
budget, develop & execute test plan and schedule official releases. You will translate customer needs, business requirements and
technology
directions into product definitions. You will also plan product development from concept to launch by building product backlogs and
writing
business requirements. You will serve as an interface between stakeholders to obtain product input and ensure awareness and comfort
with
plans. You will evaluate vendors and manage vendor work/schedule/resources as necessary. You will coordinate product development
via
Agile development environmment (JIRA and related tools). You will also conduct team iteration planning meetings, daily standup and
team
retrospectives. You will communicate product goals to development resources for development and delivery. You will collaborate with
business stakeholders to get product buy in/sign off as needed before development proceeds. You will provide decisions and approvals
to
delivery team. You will schedule and manage testing/QA resources. You will work with stakeholders to determine product success
metrics and
tracking requirements. You will set priorities of the development team. You will also define requirements, stories and personas which
align
with and meet business needs. You will coordinate with business stakeholders and continuously make sure your team is delivering
according
to the constantly growing needs of the business. You will help the development team and business stakeholders navigate obstacles and
own
the final product deliverables for the overall roadmap. You will champion the needs of business teams and stakeholders throughout the
development process; ensure what is delivered meets the original goals and KPIs. You will develop and manage the product roadmap.
You
will also rationalize and manage an opportunity and product backlog; assign and manage priorities. You will drive collaborative
innovation
amongst the organization, to identify unique solutions to complex problems. You will create and enhance guidelines, policies, practices
and
procedures to drive improvements to internal product management and development processes; partner with other managers to
identify
opportunity areas and improve process by applying best practices.



What We Are Looking For:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in Software Development or Ecommerce product development.

  • Technical product guru; understands the technologies behind products.

  • Agile management experience (Scrum Master, Product Owner, writing user stories, sprint planning, standups, backlogs, etc.)

  • Perform business requirements analysis and design

  • Excellent communication, ability to simplify complex messages & adapt communication style to audience

  • Exceptional organization and results focus; self-directed leader

  • The ability to prioritize goals and roadmaps for multiple teams

  • Identify and mitigate development risks

  • PMP/PMI Certification a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Electrical Engineering

  • Experience with Google Analytics or equivalent analytics platform, both reporting interface and technical requirements.

  • B2B digital commerce experience is a plus
